Tomi Kristian Ruhanen (born November 24, 1989) better known by his stage name Tommy Sky, is an European rapper, songwriter and producer. He started his career at 2004 as an member of U.P (Undergroundzz Productions) with J-Ray. In 2007 he started his solo career as Tommy Sky. 2009 he released his first LP called "A.P.E. Music vol.1". He got lots of respect because he had produced, written, mixed and mastered the whole LP. Now days he is making beats, recording mixtapes and more LP's. Tommy Sky has confirmed that his first studio album "Lost & Found" will be released at end of 2010!

Personal Background:

Ruhanen was born in Riihimäki, Finland. When he was 6 years old, he moved with his parents to Loppi, Finland. After rough childhood and when his father became disabled during the car accident, he decided to tell about his pain on his songs to whole world. After couple of months he left from a group called Undergroundzz Productions. His stage name images glory and hope of better future.

Career:

He joined the rap crew called Undergroundzz Productions and later they recorded several song for the friends. After a breakup from the group, he went to solo career. 2 years he learned how to make beats. He has also performed some of the famous finnish gig places such as Wanha Satama (Old Harbor), Kaapelitehdas (Cable Factory) and Nosturi.

Musical Style:

Tommy Sky uses Auto-tune a pitch-correcting audio processor, for his vocals. Reason why he uses Auto-tune, because his voice is so airless due to many years of smoking cigarettes.
Tommy Sky has said "Reason for me is to use Auto-Tune is because I'dont like my voice. It sounds lazy and everything so, you can't say that I'm just copycating everyone else".

Personal life:

Tommy Sky lives in Hyvinkää, Finland. He is currently single.
